​Forget tragic OAP hobbies! After years of putting her family’s needs before her own, Elsie Gemmell is on a mission for a new lease of life now that her kids have flown the nest. A new adventure and an excuse to revisit her childhood memories, Elsie signs up to the only certified tour guide course in Scotland. The guides-in-training are caught between two generations: one that’s onto the next trend before you can say “Supreme” and one stuck in time- looking for comfort and security in what they know. With teachers, lessons, fellow students and assessments all over again, who’d have known the second half of their life would be so similar to the first?
